About DoGood
Our Mission
DoGood Pet Rescue & Fund is a Canadian nonprofit dedicated to providing financial support to dog rescues across Canada. Our ultimate goal is to alleviate financial burdens from foster parents and rescue operations, allowing them to focus on what matters - saving dogs lives. When rescues need help, we want to be their first call.
Future Roadmap
While we currently focus on funding existing rescue operations, our long-term vision is to expand and operate as a full-service rescue organization. Coming Soon.
Our Story
Our Background
Nick grew up on the streets of Trinidad, where he witnessed hundreds of stray dogs struggling to survive every day. Kevin has been passionate about animal welfare his whole life and has fostered dogs himself for over 5 years.
The Problem We Discovered
When we started volunteering with local rescues, we saw the same heartbreaking pattern everywhere: amazing organizations wanting to help more dogs but constantly limited by funding constraints.
The Opportunity For Change
We realized that rescue teams were operating at full capacity caring for animals, so they were unable to spend as much time and energy on fundraising and financial strategy. That's where we come in.
Our Solution
We decided to become the dedicated funding partner that rescues desperately need. We handle the fundraising. They handle the rescuing. Together, we save more dogs.

Help Rescues Say "Yes"
The Reality: Rescues lose money on every dog they save
Your donation lifts financial burdens, so rescues can continue saying "yes" to those in desperate need of help. When crisis calls, we answer - because of YOU.
The Math
Average foster care: $2,000+
Average adoption fee: $400-600
Consequences: Rescues absorb $1,400+
The Real Costs
-
Spay/neuter procedure: $200-400
-
Emergency surgery: $1,500-5,000
-
Full vaccination series: $100-200
-
International flight rescue: $2,000-4,000 per dog
-
Cross-Canada vehicle transport: $800-1,200
Your donation is the difference between "we can't afford it" and "yes, we can save them."
